Several layers of encrusted deposits on the primary superheater are decreasing the heat transfer.

Before starting the treatment with an additive like PentoMag it´s very recommendable to clean the pipes without any residues. Depending on fuel components and boiler operation the molten salts inside the flue gas can form slags which are hard to clean without the help of speciality chemicals.

► After taking a sample of some slag particles the work begins: spraying a small amount for the demonstration on a sample area by hand leaving it between 30 min – 1 h work (sticky slags are foaming up) cleaning it with pressured water and seeing the results
