It is common for coal-fired boilers that high emissions occur during the startup phase. Read how Pentol mitigates this problem by injecting PentoMag 4400, a fuel additive with a very strong catalyst that reduces the activation energy required to burn the fuel. The atomization of the fuel is optimized and both CO and solid emission reduced strongly. In fact CO is reduced to a level that allows the use of the ESP in an early stage and thus minimizes visible emission on the stack during start-up.
