Optimize ESP Performance with Flue Gas Conditioning

Pentol decided to scale down SO3 conditioning units designed for the power industry to a size where it can be integrated in industrial processes. Wherever SO3 is useful, e.g. for galvanization, glass production, pharmaceutical processes, Pentol is able to supply a reliable, highly efficient SO3 generator.
Unlike the production of SO3 based on Oleum, the Pentol process is safe and continuous. The quantity of SO3 is kept constant automatically by a sophisticated control system.

The Pentol SO3 Generator is controlled by a Siemens S7 PLC with a large touch screen, where it is operated and all parameters are logged. We added the possibility to create scripts for discontinuous processes, to add flexibility and integrate it into your process.
Safety
Special emphasis has been put in safety and reliability. If you are used to handle Oleum, you will be relieved to learn that the Pentol So3 Generator includes all safety features to lock down any SO2 or SO3 leak in the process. The unit is TÜV tested, designed according to SIL and European machinery directive and got CE certification.

Availability
Final performance tests of this unit have been so successful, that our Serial #1 unit never made it back to our workshop after the first industrial test but is now integrated in a galvanization plant.
Replace Oleum now to improve reliability and to reduce cost.
